PUNS (Priority of Urgency of Need for Services)
PUNS is a statewide database through the Illinois Department of Human Services, partnered with the Illinois State Board of Education, that records information about individuals with developmental disabilities who are planning seeking services. Every school district must train and designate at least one employee in each school building as a PUNS representative. Forest Ridge District 142’s PUNS representatives, who are trained to provide information regarding PUNS are:
