Pfizer Vaccine Now Approved for Children Ages 5 and older!

Parent-Teacher Conferences are Monday, November 22 from 1:00pm to 8:00pm and Tuesday, November 23 from 8:00am to 3:00pm and will be held virtually over Zoom.

SHIELD testing will resume this Friday, October 15, 2021 for all students whose parents have signed a permission slip. Testing will take place in the morning at each of the District 142 schools

The halls have been quiet so we all look forward to the laughter and excitement that will come with our students returning tomorrow!

As we start this new school year, we want everyone to know that we care deeply about the health, safety, and well-being of our students, families, and staff.

It is hard to believe that the start of the 2021-2022 school year is only one week away! All of our staff are working diligently to put the final touches on creating engaging learning spaces, finalizing student schedules, preparing devices for all our new students, and ensuring our schools are cleaned.

On Wednesday, August 4, 2021, Gov. JB Pritzker announced masks will be required for students, teachers and staff at pre-kindergarten-12th grade schools.

The District 142 Board of Education is happy to welcome back all students to fully in-person, full-school-day instruction – including eating lunch at school. We are committed to providing the most safe and supportive learning environment for every student.

Forest Ridge School District 142 will be participating in the National School Lunch or School Breakfast Program Seamless Summer Option (SSO) for all students enrolled in District 142 schools.
