Update to Quarantine Procedures

As such, our post-travel quarantine will be set at 10 calendar days. In the event information changes in the future, we will continue to carefully consider this and make adjustments accordingly.

Additionally, close contacts of COVID-19 positive cases must quarantine for a total of 14 calendar days and also be absent of symptoms such as a new onset of moderate to severe headache, shortness of breath, new cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain from unknown cause, new congestion / runny nose, new loss of taste or smell, nausea, fatigue from unknown cause, or muscle or body aches throughout the 14 days.

In the event an individual would like to exercise the option to shorten their quarantine, they will need to provide a letter of release from their local health department. Please refer to the most recent IDPH guidance for additional information. https://www.isbe.net/Documents/IDPH-COVID19-Exclusion-Decison-Tree.pdf

We have incredibly strong mitigations in place and feel that the above options are in alignment with our goals to provide a safe learning environment for staff and students, while also providing a high quality academic environment.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our school district and each and every one of our learners.
