Start of the School Year Update

Much of our content and curriculum are delivered via technology, dependent upon both power and Internet. With many families lacking these essential tools, we have decided to utilize Remote Learning Planning Days August 17 through August 21. At this time, we intend to begin school on August 24. We are aware of the burden this places on our families and are deeply apologetic for the change in plans. Again, we hope this additional time will allow our families and our students the time needed to recover and begin the school year well.

Throughout next week, we will also be closely looking through the newly released IDPH Guidelines, released on August 12 to determine if the new, more stringent guidelines can be met while safely bringing students back in person. Any additional changes will be communicated as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, if there is anything we can do to be of assistance to you or your families, please reach out to our staff.
