Kerkstra teachers receive 2010 Stilgebauer Award
Teachers at Kerstra Elementary School received the 2010 Stilgebauer Award. Mrs. Naselli, Mrs. Thibedeau, Mrs. Youngblood and Mrs. Tracy worked with second grade teachers on the Monster Exchange Project. The project involves drawing a monster using a paint program in computer class. The child then uses adjectives to write a descriptive paragraph about their monster. Students from another school then read the descriptions written by our students and attempted to recreate the monster.
