District Assessments

Illinois Snapshots of Early Literacy (ISEL) for Grades K and 1

All Kindergarten through second grade students receive the Illinois Snapshots of Early Literacy (ISEL) assessment. This assessment identifies student strengths and areas of improvement in reading and reading comprehension. The results are being used to assist teachers in developing prescriptive lesson plans targeted at the needs of your child, as well as the students in general.


Measurement of Academic Progress (MAP) - Reading, Mathematics and Language Usage

Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) are state aligned computerized adaptive tests that accurately reflect the instructional level of each student and measure growth over time. MAP provide teachers with valuable student data regarding our local progress and achievement and assists teachers in identifying student strengths and areas of improvement in reading, language usage, mathematics and science.
