Travel With Accelerated Reader
This year's theme is "Travel with Accelerated Reader". Our students are racing to their classroom computers to take quizzes. Each grade level competes for the most points. The winning class receives an ice cream party at the end of the year. On awards day, certificates are given for most points for each class and grade level. Students receive a door prize ticket for each 20 points (10 points for 1st and 2nd grade) and we average about 30 prizes from books to Borders certificates to Junie B. t-shirts. Please encourage your children to READ their library books well and take quizzes on the AR books they read.
