Title I



Title I Program

Lee R. Foster School is a Title I Targeted Assistance School.  Students are identified for the Title I program based on ISAT, MAP, AIMSweb reading fluency, and AIMSweb math concepts/computation assessment data.  Identified students receive additional instruction in reading and/or math in order to help them improve in these content areas.  Two Title I Reading teachers and one Title I math teacher work with identified students in conjunction with regular education teachers.  These Title I teachers are Highly Qualified as noted by the Illinois State Board of Education.  To see their qualifications, please click on the link below.

Attestation About Teacher, Paraprofessional Qualifications

Starting in 2003, No Child Left Behing Act of 2001 requires schools/districts to sign an annual attestation stating whether the school is in compliance with the requirments of the act.  You can view our attestation by clicking the link below.
